ENGLAND GOLF POLICY DOCUMENTS
Dear Member,
Please be aware that the Club has recently updated our Safeguarding Policies in accordance with England Golf recommendations and requirements. As well as a long-standing Junior Safeguarding Policy, we also have a newer Policy in place for Vulnerable Adults. These are designed to ensure that Ifield is a safe place for all people, young and old, to enjoy their golf and leisure time. Should any person, young or old have any concerns, as a first point of contact please speak to the Club Welfare Officer, Jenny Lavery, whose contact details can be found on the website. You can click on the link below to visit the web page to see these updated Policies.

MINUTES OF APPROVAL
Click below, note the date as the Club DID agree adoption of all the Policies months ago. The only material difference
being that we believed Jon Earl was OK to be Welfare Officer, obviously now subsequently replaced by Jenny.

And lastly the photos. We decided it is not 'COVID-safe' to have any multiple page documents hanging from any notice boards as not 'touch safe,' hence the advice to visit our website which will be backed up by the final email to members. Hope this is satisfactory bearing in mind current and ongoing COVID implications. We, like most clubs, put very little on notice boards anymore. The days of Open entry forms hanging in folders has long been discarded and we felt similar about hanging a ring binder containing two lengthy Policy documents inside, on a public notice board. Instead everything is publicly available on the Club website.
